Skill development programme DDU-GKY gains momentum: The Deen Dayal Upadhyaya Grameen KaushalyaYojana (DDU-GKY) has gained momentum. It is a placement linked program which aims to train and get placement for 28,82,677 rural youth by March 2022.

Healthcare training firm Virohan sees increase in enrolments in current fiscal: Healthcare training firm Virohan has witnessed over two-fold increase in student enrolments during the ongoing fiscal amid the coronavirus pandemic. It has received 2,600 enrolments for the current financial year as compared with 1,100 students in the year-ago session, Virohan said in a statement.

JKP collaborates with BSE Institute Limited: The Jammu and Kashmir Police has collaborated with  Bombay  Stock  Exchange (BSE) Institute Limited. Under the partnership, BSE Institute Limited will provide skill development training courses to police martyrs and the wards of serving police personnel.

Karnataka

The first edition of Koushalya Karnataka: The first edition of Koushalya Karnataka was released. It will establish a link between employers, job aspirants and education institutions and will provide information regarding the department’s programmes, job roles, eligibility, duration among others.

Madhya Pradesh

Madhya Pradesh’s largest industrial belt resumes hiring: The largest industrial belt of Madhya Pradesh has resumed the hiring to fill the void generated by migrant workers. Automobile, engineering, pharmaceutical and IT firms are leading the way in fresh hiring with as many as 3,000 manpower requests landing with ITIs.

Meghalaya

PRIME hub in Meghalaya to provide skill-based learning to youth: The first rural PRIME hub in Meghalaya was inaugurated at Songsak in East Garo Hills with an aim to impart skill-based learning to young people in the state.

Nagaland

Nagaland has a pool of job-ready engineers in technology: Nagaland has the most tech job-ready talents when it comes to job-ready engineers, shows a survey by for the BridgeLabz Tech Employability Quotient (BTEQ) which included 37,000 engineering graduates across streams.
