Government to launch skill training program for disabled entrepreneurs: The Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment is going to launch an exclusive program to provide skill training and marketing strategies for disabled entrepreneurs, artisans and artists. FSTC participates in Wings India 2020: FSTC, a premier aviation training centre endorsed by DGCA and EASA, participated in the Wing India 2020 event organised by the Ministry of Civil Aviation, Government of India. The four-day event was concluded on 15th March in Hyderabad.
Pratt and Whitney customer training centre in India: Pratt and Whitney has recorded 10,000 student days of training at its customer training centre in Hyderabad, India. The centre was launched in 2015 and is one of the three Pratt and Whitney training centres operating globally which offers specialised DGCA and EASA Part 147 approved training.
Regional skill contests by Toyota Kirloskar Motor: Toyota Kirloskar Motor (TKM) organized a seminar and regional skill contests for Toyota Technical Education Program (T-TEP) with an aim to create a dynamic talent pool through continuous up-gradation of competencies.
1800 women to get skill training by REC: Financial assistance of Rs. 2.79 crore to be provided by REC Ltd. for imparting job oriented skill development training to 1800 women.

Bus fitted with IT equipment for students in rural areas: In Haryana, a bus was designed for students in rural areas which is equipped with IT equipment. The Chief Minister of Haryana flagged off the bus.
Jammu and Kashmir
Skill development centre in Jammu and Kashmir by VLCC: VLCC is going to open its first skill development institute in Jammu and Kashmir. VLCC currently runs a total 96 VLCC Institutes of Beauty and Nutrition in India and Nepal.
Automobile training to youth in Jammu and Kashmir: The government in collaboration with a private institute is providing vocational training to youth in motor mechanics and automobiles.
Free of cost skill development training for Jammu and Kashmir youth: ICICI Foundation is going to provide free of cost skill development training to the youths of Jammu and Kashmir through ICICI Academy for Skills which will be inaugurated in the Union Territory shortly.
Punjab
Skill centre for women to learn tailoring: A free of cost skill centre to provide training to women in tailoring was launched in Bathinda. The course duration is six-months.
Tamil Nadu
Rs 138 crore co-gen power plant in Tamil Nadu: A co-generation power plant has been established at Perambalur sugar mill at Eraiyur in Tamil Nadu at a cost of Rs 138.86 crore. During the occasion, the Chief Minister inaugurated the new build for ITIs and launched a ITPA mobile app for supervising training at ITIs and the employment opportunities available for them.
