The first pure skill university which has introduced ‘Swiss Dual’ system of education in India, Bhartiya Skill Development University (BSDU) Jaipur, received Best Skill University in India award during Dialogue India Conclave in Dubai. These awards were given by Mr. Vipul, the Consulate General of India in UAE, Director General of Sharjah Chamber of Commerce Mr. Abdelaziz Mohamed Shattaf, Managing Director of GTCS Global Mr. Rakesh Ranjan, who has been CEO and Advisor of HFZA, Government of Sharjah.
Receiving this prestigious award, Prof. Achintya Choudhury, Registrar, Bhartiya Skill Development University and Dr. Ravi Kumar Goyal, Director Admissions, Bhartiya Skill Development University said, “We are honored to be recognised as Best Skill University in India. Dialogue India Conclave 2019 witnessed over a hundred dignitaries from the United Arab Emirates (UAE) and India who have discussed in details how the Indian educational institutions can collectively act as a bridge between the needs of the industry globally and the skilled Indian workforce. Over a dozen investors from Dubai discussed the investment opportunities in India through the Indian institutions. The Conclave witnessed three-panel discussions majorly discussing evolution of Indian Higher Education in recent times.
Bhartiya Skill Development University is the brainchild of Dr. Rajendra Kumar Joshi who received Global Inspirational Icon in Skill Education Award during the conclave for his exemplary contribution in eminently developing skill landscape. BSDU’s model of skill education got awarded as university is formed basing the concept of introducing Swiss Dual System of Education which preaches Switzerland’s education system where students are made job ready while they are completing their education. It emphasizes equally on theoretical part as well as on practical training embedded in real-life industry environment where students on a six-month semester basis complete their vocational degrees alternatively in university and industry.
