Or do you look for opportunities to study abroad or apply for competitive exams? Well, whatever your requirement might be, the NTTF B.Voc degree program with dual benefits is sure to fulfil all of them.

NTTF has partnered with many renowned universities such as Dayanand Sagar University, Vellore Institute of Technology (VIT) and ARKA JAIN University to offer the program.

“NTTF pioneers in providing practical based diplomas to students and creating skilled professionals for the industry. Now we are venturing into the B.Voc programmes with practical training as it is going to be in demand in the future and it’s the need of the hour too”, says Ms. G. S. Kalpana, Sr. General Manager and Management Representative for Quality System Implementation at NTTF.

Watch out conversation with Ms. G. S. Kalpana to know more about the program.

Dual benefits of NTTF B.Voc program: Here is what you should know

NTTF, a pioneer in providing industry-relevant technical training, is offering B.Voc programs, in partnership with renowned universities in a number of in-demand trades. Their 62 years of glorious journey have been quite impactful for all their alumni.

The admissions for the NTTF B.Voc programs are now open for the year 2022-2023. If you wish to know more about the admission process and eligibility criteria then visit NTTF’s official website.

Talking about the credibility and demand of the B.Voc programs, Ms. G. S. Kalpana says, “both students and parents appreciate NTTF’s B.Voc program since they have always desired a degree with a diploma. After completing their B.Voc, students are eligible to pursue an MBA, as well as appear for UPSC, Bank and Railways examinations and other competitive tests that require a basic degree. Since it is equivalent to a regular degree program, there is a high level of interest in enrolment. We began with 20 students and now have over 300 students enrolled in the program. The response from the industry, like that of the students and parents, is enormous and encouraging.”

NTTF B.Voc program with dual benefitsThe B.Voc program’s major goal is to prepare people with the technical skills and knowledge required for manufacturing and related industries and commodities. Partner universities are referred to as Academy partners in the collaboration, while NTTF is referred to as the Skill partner.

Here’s what is unique about the program

The course provides you with a platform to learn multiple industry-relevant skills. Your skills will be nurtured by industry leaders. “We invite industry representatives to the Board of Studies (BOS) to ensure that our courses are industry-aligned, and we incorporate their feedback into curriculum development. Implementing a syllabus that is aligned with industry requirements has greatly aided our placement process, ensuring that our students are industry-ready”, says Ms. G. S. Kalpana talking about the placement and industry relevance of the course.

Here’s what is unique about the B.Voc program,

  • The courses are based on UGC guidelines
  • The curriculum includes vocational skills, general education with a focus on practical work, on-the-job training, and project work.
  • The program is organized around a credit system, with practical and hands-on training accounting for more than 60% of the total.
  • It allows you to apply for a skill-based visa to study abroad
  • The Board of Studies (BoS) invites industry representatives to ensure that the courses are industry-aligned.

The B.Voc program will be expanded in the future to include more skill components relevant to a technical degree. NTTF believes in the ‘Learn and Earn’ concept, which is also used in the B.Voc program.
