Indian to promote innovation at school level: In the 4th edition of TiE Global Summit, It was informed by the CEO of NITI Aayog that the government is going to open 10,000 tinkering labs at school level across India to boost innovation among students.
RPL implemented by NBCC under Skill India Mission: RPL has been implemented throughout the country by NBCC under Skill India mission. Over 2000 Workers in 39 job roles have been assessed and certified by CSDC.

Rubber tapping skill development school to be inaugurated: Rubber Board is going to start a rubber tapping skill development school to impart training on Rubber Latex harvesting and processing at Amayannoor. The duration of training is 30 days.

AP to spend Rs 12,000-cr to introduce English medium in government schools: The Government of Andhra Pradesh launched ”Nadu-Nedu” programme to introduce English medium from classes 1 to 6 in state-run schools. The government is also planning to launch ”Amma Vodi” scheme in January 2020 to give incentives to mothers who send their children to school and continue their education till class 12.

Two-day job fair held in Meghalaya to boost employability among youth: To boost the employability among youth of Meghalaya, the second edition of a two-day walk-in job fair was held at the Don Bosco hall. The job fair was organised by MSSDS in association with Asian Development Bank.
Emporium to train Mon youths in aviation, hospitality
Dimapur, Nov. 13 (EMN): A government-sponsored training programme for youths in Mon district is scheduled to be conducted at the Wangkhao Government College in Mon.
The training will be imparted with focus on the areas of aviation and hospitality, updates stated.
Emporium to train Mon youths in aviation, hospitality – According to updates, ‘100% placement’ will be provided to the candidates after they successful complete the training course. The sectors are the airlines, five-star luxury hotels and cruise liners worldwide, updates stated.

Month-long skill development programme on bamboo handicraft concludes: Skill development programme on bamboo handicraft which lasted for a whole month concluded at the Amyaa’s training centre in Lower Dibang Valley district.
Emporium to train youth in Aviation and Hospitality: Emporium will train through a government-sponsored training programme for youth in Mon district. The training is scheduled to be conducted at the Wangkhao Government College in Mon.
Go Air recruited 19 Naga girls as cabin crew: Nineteen Naga girls were recruited by Go Air in one of its campus recruitment drive at the Emporium Skills Training Institute in Dimapur. All these selected candidates are currently undergoing training at the Emporium Skill Training Institute, Dimapur under PMKVY2.0.
