ESSCI and Tech Mahindra Saral Rozgar collaborate for Job Fair, with support from TASK

The Electronics Sector Skills Council of India (ESSCI), with active local support from the Telangana Academy for Skills and Knowledge (TASK) and in collaboration with Tech Mahindra Saral Rozgar, organized a special job fair in the electronics sector. The Job Mela was organized on 9th April at the Wesley College, Secunderabad, Telangana.

More than 800 candidates skilled and certified in electronics under the National Skills Qualification Framework (NSQF) participated in the fair attended by 22 companies including leading employers like Tata Sky, Efftronics and Datawind. While 50 candidates were given on the spot offer letters, over 250 candidates were shortlisted for the second round.

Highlights of the Job Fair

  • Special job fair organized for candidates in the Electronics sector
  • Attended by 800+ plus job seekers
  • Participation from 22 companies such as Efftronics, Datawind, Tata Sky etcESSCI and Tech Mahindra
  • Growth Factories Limited (incubator of Saral Rozgar) have earlier signed an MoU for Skill Development and to provide an employment platform for entry level job seekers

At the job fair, Mr. N K Mohapatra, CEO, ESSCI said, “We are very happy organize such fairs where our trained resources get an opportunity to be employed and our certification finds acceptability in the industry. It is a testimony to the credibility and wide outreach of ESSCI in bridging the gap between skilled candidates and potential employers. Also the support from TASK means a lot and goes a long way in supporting our employability objectives for the certified resources.

About Saral Rozgar

Saral Rozgar is an omni-channel multilingual job marketplace for blue-collar and entry level workforce that leverages the ubiquity of mobile and cutting edge technology to empower millions of blue-collar and entry level job seekers to connect with mainstream employers and vice-versa, across the country.  It has a registered job seeker base of close to 6 million+ and generated more than 1.5 million job openings across 150 plus categories. Saral Rozgar has automated the core recruitment process: robots automatically call to check contactability of candidates and a one-click automated IVR with preset questions can screen & qualify thousands of candidates, thereby saving employers’ time and cost of recruitment. Artificial Intelligence and Analytics help jobseekers receive job opportunities most relevant to their profile.

Saral Rozgar has successfully engaged more than 25,000 job providers such as Whirlpool, Home Credit, Blue Dart, Godrej and Boyce, Mahindra Tractors, Bharti Axa, Birla Sun Life, Glaxo Smith Kline, and others. Partnerships have been extended with the skill development training partners of National Skill Development Corporation (NSDC), DGET, NIESBUD and various state skill development bodies engaging the trained youths to the entry level jobs.  Saral Rozgar has also signed an MoU with the Union Ministry of Labour and Employment for National Career Services online portal to bridge the digital divide in the job marketplace.
