Aakhila A, Worked in a dental clinic, Thrissur and pursuing a course in Paramedics

Aakhila hails from Thenidukku, Vadakkancheri, was born in a humble family. Right from childhood, she had to face various trials and tribulations in her life. Her father, being paralyzed was not able to earn a living. Their only source of money is earned from a small dime store run by her mother in front of their house. She has two younger sisters who are studying.

Many times, they found it difficult to balance their daily expenses with the meagre income. But, none of these problems could dampen her will to work hard and move forward. She wanted to make her parents proud.

Aakhila was a Dental Assistant Course student of ASAP during the year 2013-2014. She joined ASAP with a desire to get in to a job as soon as possible. She wanted a part time job so she could complete her studies along with it.

After completing her dental assistant course from Royal Dental College, Palakkad, she got placement. She worked in a dental clinic in Thrissur for a year, also attending her medical entrance coaching classes. Every day after her classes, she used to work part time in the evening. She used to earn 4000/month at that time. “ASAP lent me a helping hand to make my dreams come true” says Aakhila.

“She knew what she wanted in her life. She is bold enough to chase her dreams. Let God bless her in her endeavors” says Subaida, Aakhila’s mother. Now, Aakhila is doing Paramedical course in Pala, Kottayam. She wants to start a dental clinic in Palakkad and render her services to common people. Except prayers from her parents, teachers and well-wishers, she does not have anything to depend upon, to make her dream a reality. With hope in heart, Aakhila believes that ASAP will be there with her in her future ventures; to help her to burn and shine like a sun.
