Anjali, Senior Customer Relation Executive

ASAP_TE_ANJALIAnjali, a higher secondary student of GHSS Neduveli, comes from a poor family background. Her father is a laborer who does not have a regular income to support his family of five members. He struggles to make both ends meet.

ASAP turned out to be a boon in disguise for Anjali. Her teacher Mrs. Seema –School Coordinator gave her more inputs about the Skill Sets offered by ASAP and its benefits.

ASAP conducted an aptitude test to shortlist candidates for various skill programs and Anjali came out with flying colours.

A Foundation class which comprises of English Communication and Basics of IT was conducted daily at GHSS Neduveli school by ASAP trainer Skill Development Executive Bharat. The classes were very interesting and induced in her a confidence to perform in front of an audience.

In due course of time she improved her communication and IT skills. She stopped going for tuitions in order to attend the ASAP classes. Anjali made her teachers very happy and proud with her improving skills and active participation in school and ASAP. The coordinator took special interest and always stayed back to make the students reached home safely.

Anjali joined Venjaramoodu Skill Development Centre under Programme Manager Ruby Ismail in April 2014.The skill course gave her exposure to the field of front office operations. Internship at Mascot hotel gave her an opportunity to get a glimpse of famous personalities including our Prime Minister Mr Narendra Modi. Anjali said “I wouldn’t have got all these opportunities if I had not joined ASAP, ASAP is a blessing for me”. She was given basic training to create a resume and attend an interview along with other students in SDC. Special training was given at Thycaud SDC under PM Ruby Ismail before the placement drive. Anjali was shortlisted in all the 3 companies in which she attended the interview.

Her happiness knew no bounds when Glue Tech Technologies offered her a position as Customer Relation Executive. Anjali performed well in her work and is the “STAR” performer in the organization. The company encouraged and supported her to join the distance education program. Salary increment and incentives were showered to her as a part of her achievement in these two months and she was promoted to the post of Senior Customer Relation Executive.

Anjali is placed in higher position than her MBA counter parts as a part of her performance in the company. She also had an opportunity to train MBAs in her organization which indeed is an achievement. Anjali says “But for ASAP, I would have been a house wife today, ASAP has changed my life”.
