Third phase of PMKVY to be launched: The government is going to launch the third phase of PMKVY. The third phase will be linked with the school education to bring a revolutionary change in the field of skill development.

ASSOCHAM to host third edition Emerging North East meet: ASSOCHAM is going to organize the third edition of the Emerging North East Meet in Guwahati. Over 5000 key stake-holders from industries, institutions, embassies, experts, investors and Government officials will participate in the event.

MSDE plans to strengthen DSCs to impart skill training: MSDE is going to strengthen DSCs and increase their participation to impart skill training that is demand-oriented than supply-centric.

BSDU and Hero Moto Crop to assist trainees in two-wheeler technologies: BSDU is going to open Centre of Excellence in skill based training education on two wheeler in collaboration with Hero Moto Crop Ltd.

PFC signs MoA for skill development training: PFC and NBFC have signed an MoA with IGIAT for providing financial assistance for various skilling programs. under the MoA, PFC Ltd will provide Rs. 1.44 Crore for the training of 500 unemployed youth.

Horiba Medical India launches Horiba India Technical Institute: Horiba Medical India launched Horiba India Technical Institute in association with Healthcare Sector Skill Council (HSSC).The institute aims to provide various specialized professional courses.

DFID and CSDCI organizes Training of Master Assessor Program: DFID organized a ten-day Training of Master Assessor Program in collaboration with CSDCI. The job roles in focus were Supervisor Structure and Lead Assessor. Read more…

Skill development workshop under project Swawlambi: WIPS and CMPDI organized a workshop in association with the CSR team under project Swawlambi which aims to provide skill development and employability to underprivileged women. Under this programme, women are being trained in tailoring with the help of master trainer from Usha International limited, Patna.

Vedanta gets ‘Best CSR Practices’ award: Nand Ghar, the flagship CSR project of Vedanta has been awarded with the ‘ET Now World CSR Awards-2020’ for ‘Best CSR practices’.

Rs. 1.43 crore to be spent on skill training of youth: PFC is going to spend Rs 1.43 crore on the skill development of youth. PFC has signed an MoU with IGIAT for funding a skill training program. Read more…

Training centre for women by Hero MotoCorp: Hero MotoCorp Ltd has inaugurated their first ever training centre for women at Industrial Training Institute (ITI) at Ambala in Haryana. This will build key skill-set amongst women.
