Mr. Likith Kumar YP represented India with a bronze medal in prototype modelling at the WorldSkills Competition 2022 (WSC2022), which took place in Bern, Switzerland from September 7 to 10, 2022. WorldSkills Competition is the world’s largest vocational education and skills excellence event, reflecting worldwide industry criteria.
Mr. Likhit Kumar YP also took first place in the Prototype Modelling skill of India’s National Skill Competition, “IndiaSkills 2021.” He received training from Mr. Bhaskar Singh, a Toyota India expert who is also the platform’s Chief Expert in Prototype Modelling Skill.
Mr. Likhit Kumar YP, a farmer’s son, has distinguished himself and his family with this major accomplishment. Likith has achieved all this, from being chosen by the training centre to winning the IndiaSkills competition to most recently obtaining a bronze medal for his country on an international stage.

The National Skill Development Corporation (NSDC), which is supervised by the Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship (MSDE), is responsible for administering WorldSkills India, which trains youth to compete and represent for their country in international skill competitions.
