- MSDE has partnered with Meta to launch an AI Assistant for the Skill India Mission and establish 5 Centers of Excellence in VR and MR at National Skill Training Institutes (NSTI) at Hyderabad, Bengaluru, Jodhpur, Chennai and Kanpur.
- Union Minister Shri Dharmendra Pradhan announced the establishment of three AI Centres of Excellence in Healthcare, Agriculture, and Sustainable Cities, led by AIIMS, IIT Delhi, IIT Ropar, and IIT Kanpur.
- Union Minister Jayant Chaudhary inaugurated a new National Skill Training Institute (NSTI) extension centre at Andhra Medical Tech Zone in Visakhapatnam to address skill gaps and boost employment opportunities for Andhra Pradesh’s youth.
- India and Germany are set to sign a pact next week to facilitate the movement of workers and recognize skills, enabling skilled professionals from India to be easily absorbed by the German industry.
- Ministry of Commerce and Industry has urged industry associations to collaborate with startups and promote young leadership, while also encouraging greater involvement of women entrepreneurs.
