- Centurion University in Odisha aligns with NEP 2020, introducing the Four-Year UG Program through its School of Undergraduate Studies in the upcoming 2023-24 academic session.
- First FSSAI government training institute has been set up in DSLD College of Horticulture Engineering and Food Technology at Haveri.
Skill development news from the States/UTs
- Jammu and Kashmir: Bombay Stock Exchange has collaborated with J and K Skill Development department to promote financial awareness for 1500 youth, focusing on redirecting investments to lucrative financial institutions.
- Karnataka: As part of the skilling program, the Government of Karnataka has announced that 100 engineering colleges from the state will be linked with 100 leading IT companies.
- Maharashtra: The Pimpri-Chinchwad Municipal Corporation has been approved in Chinchwad for the construction of an Industrial Training Center and an International Skill Development Center.
- Nagaland: Nagaland secured a spot on the country’s industrial map with the inauguration of the Lady Bug Toy Production unit at the Industrial Training Institute in Kohima.
