- A technology center focused on Industry 4.0, in collaboration with Tata Technologies, was inaugurated at the Kolli Hills Industrial Training Institute (ITI) located in Namakkal district.

- Andhra Pradesh: the government of Andhra Pradesh is set to launch a Rs 100-crore program in Visakhapatnam aimed at modernizing skill development and training institutes throughout the state.
- Arunachal Pradesh: Usha International Ltd is training 10 women in Upper Subansiri district via ‘Usha Silai School’ with NGO Seva Kendra Arunachal East and District Industries Centre support.
