Vocational education has become an important era of transition in our society. Skills in various sectors and segments have flourished in such rapid pace that the Indian Govt. has shown more than a green flag to this opportunity. Sectors like automobile, retail, green skills, hospitality, telecom, construction, logistics and the list is never ending has opened up opportunities to youths and unemployed to earn their livelihood. So to be skilled and be relevant just fits the present scenario of the Indian society which in due course of time will help in developing the Indian economy.
So let’s join hand in hand in the mission of skilling India and gradually eradicate the impossibilities and forecast a society full of trained professionals. Thus we can well say now that richness is not a criteria for living a luxurious life as all are not born with a silver spoon, but with the emergence of skill development education, it is clear that skilled individuals with their skills and clear mission in mind can earn bread and butter and lead a smooth easy go simple life and make their life worthwhile and relevant in the society.

We have studied the present status of skill development training-the key issues have been identified for bringing efficiency, sufficiency and equity in the overall system of skill development training including vocational training. Attitude (Head and Heart), Skills and Knowledge (ASK) are the forces of economic growth and manpower skill development in India. In the recent past the Government of India has responded most effectively to the challenges and has initiated with establishing an independent full-fledged department /Ministry of Skill Development, Entrepreneurship & Employment for jobs for skilled professionals in India and India is going
to be the youngest nation with the largest work force at the International level.
The training content for the programmes will be developed in association with the industries concerned and the SCVT/NCVT with necessary skill certification to candidates at the end of the training programme.
To ensure the effectiveness of the training programme, the large scale skill development initiatives will focus on standardization, forward and backward linkage and scalability.-Improving Course Curriculum on
specialization, on practical orientation ,on shared education service, Encourage Private Training Providers, Initiative aimed at improving the quality of training the trainer ,Improving ITI’s, Skill Development
Centres (SDCs).

Skill does not allow a person to become outdated. To be relevant in a profession you have to be in tune with the times. You have to be at the top of your game at all times and in every changing scenario in order to be the go-to person.vIn order to attain such manner of skill entails ever evolving, ever growing, and ever striving for perfection in whichever trade or profession or sphere of life we are in.
The world is always on the lookout for such skill. Therefore, whatever be the profession or trade, be skilled and relevant, and stand among kings and not among mediocre men or women.
