- The webinar ‘Digital University: Making World Class Higher Education Accessible for All’ was held on February 21st, 2022 by the Education Ministry. The main focus was on starting a digital university to reach out to the remotest locations in the country and to prevent girl children dropping out from the school system.
- The Skill India webinar, ‘Towards Fostering Stronger Industry-Skill Linkage,’ was held on Monday, February 21, 2022, the Budget 2022 for the education focused on expanding reach, improving quality education, building capacity and strengthening the digital skill ecosystem. - In the post-Budget webinar, Union Minister Rajeev Chandrasekhar stressed on stronger employment and the outcomes of entrepreneurship so that students can easily access the skill ecosystem.
- With the launch of the Gati Shakti Project, India is attempting to make its transportation infrastructure among the best in the world.

- First-In-Class edutech platform has signed an MoU with RILM to create the largest free-of-cost edutech initiative in India. Tablets, PCs will be given free-of-cost in this initiative.
- The first batch of 35 women of Mandi Ahmedgarh is being trained free of cost in various vocations from time to time at Guara village with the help of State Bank of India-run RSETI.

- Pearson, the world’s leading learning company announced its collaboration with Apollo MedSkills, the educational arm of Apollo Hospitals to develop effective skilling programmes. It is to strengthen the healthcare sector and enhance access to quality healthcare education and upskill around 15,000 healthcare workers in the country.

- Delhi – Delhi University laid the foundation of its new Regional Centre (West) of School of Open Learning (SOL) in Keshavpuram in July 2021 for Class 12-passed students to offer 24 skill-based and short-term certificate courses through offline and online modes.
- Himachal Pradesh – HPSDC would provide training at Mohali on Artificial Intelligence (AI) as an add-on category under skill development programmes.
- Jammu and Kashmir – Regional Sericulture Research Centre, Central Silk Board of Jammu organized a five-day Farmer Skill Training Programme to make sericulture farmers aware of the latest techniques under Capacity Building and Training at Sericulture Farm, Ghordi, Udhampur.
- Odisha – Union Minister of Steel, Ram Chandra Prasad Singh stressed that the people of Odisha need to focus on improving skill development and said that the government is also actively taking efforts to address the concerns of the steel industry.
- Tamil Nadu – IIT Madras digital skill academy has partnered with InFact Pro, a Finance Sector Certified trainer in Chennai and launched an upskilling programme called ‘Premier Banker’ to prepare students for a career in banking and financial services.
