Jammu and Kashmir

Skill based programs on adventure sports and film-making: With the objective of creating skill-based programs in Jammu and Kashmir, the government is planning to set up skill-based training programs related to adventure sports and film-making.

Skill development centre for women: A skill development centre was inaugurated in Jammu and Kashmir. The initiative is aimed to impart training and create self-help groups to empower women and girls to earn a livelihood and shape a better future.

Odisha

ORMS to build crafts emporium in Sambalpur: ORMS has decided to convert Laxmipriya store into a crafts emporium to promote handicrafts in Odisha. Around Rs 4.5 lakh will be spent on renovation of the building to convert it into a crafts emporium.

Tamil Nadu

2000 goldsmiths get registered and certified: Over 2000 traditional goldsmiths who were part of the unorganised sector are becoming registered under a new government program.
