With a legacy spanning over 65 years, the Nettur Technical Training Foundation (NTTF) stands as a beacon of excellence in technical education. Committed to providing high-quality education, NTTF endeavours to develop skilled individuals who contribute meaningfully to societal progress. Rooted in an industry-focused approach, NTTF’s programs are meticulously designed to address the evolving needs of our society, ensuring that its trainees emerge as the most sought-after professionals in their respective fields.

In this article, we delve into some recent highlights and achievements of NTTF, reflecting its unwavering dedication to excellence, innovation, and societal impact.

National Eminence Award for CSR Initiative:

NTTF’s commitment to excellence and social responsibility was further acknowledged with the prestigious National Eminence Award for CSR Initiative of the Year from the Electronic Sector Skill Council of India (ESSCI). NTTF has been providing a free 2-year program for PWD since 1991 and the National Eminence Award for CSR Initiatives is a recognition for their efforts in this area. The award ceremony, held at Bharat Mantapam, New Delhi, on January 17, 2024, celebrated NTTF’s dedication to fostering an inclusive learning environment and promoting diversity in technical education.

This recognition reaffirms NTTF’s position as a trailblazer in the realm of technical education, showcasing its unwavering dedication to innovation, collaboration, and social inclusiveness. NTTF Shapes the Future of Technical Training

Alumni Meet at PNTC:

NTTF recently organized a vibrant Alumni meet at its Pune campus, PNTC, on January 12, 2024. The event witnessed a gathering of 30 enthusiastic alumni who convened at 7 pm for an evening filled with nostalgia and camaraderie. Among the distinguished guests were Mr. B V Sudharshan, DMD NTTF, Mr. Kashinath Dash, CFO NTTF, and Ms. Preeta John, North Zone Leader from Jamshedpur.

During the event, Mr. Sudharshan provided valuable insights into the NCVET recognition, while Mr. Raju Samnekar, President of the Alumni association, and Mr. George P, Vice President, graced the occasion with their presence. Mr. Dash eloquently elucidated the referral scheme, and overall, the Alumni association members demonstrated their keen interest in contributing to the growth of PNTC. Creativity Olympiad 2023:

Another highlight was the sixth inter-NTTF competition, Creativity Olympiad 2023, held at NTTF, Vellore, from November 23 to 25, 2023. This competition showcased the innovative prowess of participants as they constructed Rube Goldberg Machines, intricately designed to perform simple tasks in a convoluted manner.

With the theme revolving around automobiles, teams of four—comprising one staff member and three trainees—constructed machines using automobile parts creatively. Bonus points were awarded for each type of automobile component used, with teams presenting their machines to judges, detailing the design process, scientific principles applied, and outcomes achieved.

As NTTF continues to make strides in the field of technical education, these updates underscore its ongoing commitment to excellence, innovation, and societal impact.
