Measures taken by Fronius India to make welding aspirational
With an aim to keep the welder’s fraternity motivated and up to date with the latest developments in the industry, Fronius India conducts basic training sessions in welding for free of cost. Fronius conducts these classes on a monthly basis in the cities of Pune, Ahmedabad, Chennai, Delhi, and Kolkata.
To create awareness about welding among the youth and professionals, Fronius also conducts, Training of Trainer (TOT) programs with various ITIs (Industrial Training Institutes) located across the country.
To address the skill gap among the welding professionals, along with adding aspirational value to the job role of a welder, Fronius India has taken several steps in that direction. Because the low aspirational value of the job role is what stops the youth from joining as a welder. And the industry faces a shortage of skilled and trained welding workforce. That is why Fronius India has begun addressing all the welding professionals as the Joining Specialists. Just changing the name of their designation adds the much-needed aspirational value to the job role of a welder.
