CII Karnataka Skills Conclave: Skills For Resilience And Agile Future

CII Karnataka is organizing a Skills Conclave themed on “Skills For Resilience And Agile Future” on 3rd March 2022 from 1000-1600Hrs virtually.

The conclave aims to deliberate on new opportunities, challenges, and the way forward. The conclave is the first of its kind launched in CII Karnataka discussion on Industry-Academia Partnerships, Assessment for Employability, Vocational Skills for All, Government Schemes for Skilling, Employment opportunities for Youth Post COVID and Skillset required, Use of IT for Employment Matchmaking among others.

Thus the main drivers of CII Karnataka Skills Conclave are:

• Industry Institute Partnerships for an agile environment.

The ambitious program on Atmanirbhar Bharat also calls for making local products global. This has got many subsets like manufacturing competitiveness, import-substitution, value for money, etc, Unless we have skilled people with best in class skilling ecosystem Atmanirbhar Bharat is a challenging one. Automation and Digitization are reshaping the world economy. Within the next four years, more than 5 million jobs are expected to be lost to robots. Partnerships between public and private sectors need to draw up new curriculums that match young people with the real needs of businesses.

To achieve this objective, the webinar will broadly focus on learning how L&D can work as a collaborator with internal talent mobility, which future skills the workforce will need in 2025 and how organizations, academia, and the government should join forces re-skilling revolution.
