Bhartiya Skill Development University (BDSU) announces 11 new vocational degree courses

Bhartiya Skill Development University (BDSU) organized their tenth Board of Studies (BoS) meeting on 19th May 2018 at Jaipur. One of the important announcements during the meeting was about the 11 new vocational degree programs based on the Swiss Dual system. The meeting saw enthusiastic participation from various universities and technical education bodies like AICTE, Symbiosis University, Haryana Vishwakarma Skill University, Manipal University etc to discuss multiple strategies to skill the youth. The meeting was chaired by Dr. (Brig.) SS Pabla, president BSDU and he provided the details about the following 11 new courses proposed for the academic year 2019 -2020 and few others that would start from July 2018 – 19.

  5. Vocational Short Film Making Skills

  7. Vocational Industrial Security Skills
  8. Vocational Telecom Skills
  9. Vocational Robotics & 3D Printing Skills
  10. Vocational Automotive Skills (Tractor) Skills
  11. Vocational Construction Equipment Skills

  1. Vocational Agriculture Skills
  2. Vocational Plumbing Skills
  3. Vocatioinal Logistic Skills
  4. Vocational Entrepreneurship Skills
  5. Vocational Hospitality & Tourism Skills
  6. Vocational Garment Making & Fabric Printing Skills

BDSU Vocational Degree coursesAnnouncing the launch of new programs, Dr. Pabla said, “New courses are customized according to industry demands. Our aim is to provide in-depth training to students in maximum possible skill areas. Any student completing our vocational degree will definitely have a higher chance of being recruited as he receives the most sought-after training from professionals on world class machines available at our campus.”

While addressing the members of Board of Studies, Dr. (Brig.) SS Pabla, president, BSDU, said, “Our objective is to nurture students with best of skill development initiatives. We are proud to announce these new courses. I hope this will help students to get job ready from grassroots level. We are delighted to share that we have created a milestone by providing 100% placement assistance to all the students who enrolled in B.Voc. courses last year.”
