AISECT Launches AI Literacy Mission through Kaushal Vikas Yatra 2025

This year, the Skill Development Journey takes on a new purpose: making advanced technologies like AI accessible to schools, colleges, and communities across India. Through the Kaushal Rath (Skill Vehicle), the yatra is literally driving learning opportunities to people’s doorsteps, bringing free Artificial Intelligence (AI) training sessions, workshops, and demonstrations.

From skill development to AI awareness

Since its inception, the core focus of Kaushal Vikas Yatra has been about spreading awareness of skill development and career opportunities. The 2025 edition raises the bar by focusing on Artificial Intelligence and other future-oriented technologies.

AISECT Launches AI Literacy Mission through Kaushal Vikas Yatra 2025

The word “Yatra” itself signifies a journey of growth and discovery. For AISECT, this journey is not just about moving from one location to another; it is about taking learners from awareness to understanding, from curiosity to capability. Every stop along the yatra becomes a milestone where students, teachers, and communities step forward into a future shaped by technology.

By integrating the AI Literacy Mission into the yatra, AISECT ensures that students not only hear about modern technologies but also experience them firsthand. Demonstrations on AR/VR, discussions on real-life AI applications, and interactive learning through AISECT AI Guru platform will give participants a glimpse of how technology is reshaping industries and employment landscapes.

Connecting schools, colleges, and communities

AISECT’s extensive reach allows the initiative to impact both urban and rural learners. Partnering with Skill Knowledge Providers (SKPs) and franchise owners, the mission ensures that each center conducts at least 10 free AI seminars during the yatra.

Teachers and SKPs will first receive specialized online training, equipping them with standardized tools and content. This way, whether the session happens in a city college or a village school, students receive uniform, high-quality exposure to AI concepts.

A structured roadmap

The program has been designed with four clear objectives:

  • Build capacity among educators and SKPs to deliver AI education
  • Engage communities through free seminars, workshops, and case studies
  • Strengthen institutional linkages by collaborating with schools and colleges
  • Develop a student database to guide future training and skill programs

This structured approach ensures that awareness translates into action, and action into sustainable learning outcomes.

A step in line with NITI Aayog’s vision

NITI Aayog has emphasized that Artificial Intelligence is central to achieving the vision of a Viksit Bharat by 2047. Its latest roadmap, calls for:

  • Integration of AI courses across academic levels to build a strong talent pipeline.
  • Establishment of AI/Data Labs in Tier-2 and Tier-3 cities to democratize access to learning and research.
  • Accelerating AI adoption in critical sectors like agriculture, healthcare, education, and mobility, with practical applications ranging from precision farming and telehealth to personalized learning and intelligent transportation.
  • Strengthening the ecosystem through data infrastructure, governance frameworks, and academia–industry partnerships.

AISECT’s AI Literacy Mission under Kaushal Vikas Yatra 2025 directly contributes to this vision by taking AI awareness and training to the grassroots. By mobilizing Kaushal Rath vehicles across regions, partnering with schools and colleges, and engaging underserved communities, AISECT ensures that the benefits of emerging technologies reach every corner of the country; transforming the national vision of Viksit Bharat into a people-led movement.

Towards an AI-powered Bharat

As thousands of students gear up to benefit from this movement, Kaushal Vikas Yatra 2025 stands out not just as a campaign, but as a roadmap for preparing India’s youth for an AI-driven future. With every seminar, workshop, and demonstration, AISECT is reinforcing its commitment to building an India where technology and opportunity go hand in hand.

The journey of Kaushal Vikas Yatra is, in essence, the journey of India itself; from skills to knowledge, from awareness to empowerment, from today’s aspirations to tomorrow’s achievements. The wheels of the Kaushal Rath are carrying not just tools and trainers, but also hope and opportunity for the next generation. The journey has already begun; and it is rolling across India on wheels of change.

Don’t miss the chance to empower your institution and community with the future of learning. Partner with AISECT’s AI Literacy Mission and take the first step in bringing AI awareness to your region.

  • National Skills Network-NSN celebrates 11 years!!We are grateful for your continued support and engagement over the years. It has been central to this journey. This milestone reflects both our journey and the ecosystem we’ve engaged with.Over the last decade, we’ve observed and gained a clear perspective on how education, skills, and careers are evolving across the ecosystem. And one insight continues to stand out.The gap is no longer about skills awareness. The gap is in the transition from education to employability. To strengthen a complex, fragmented, but evolving ecosystem, a shift is needed. Many pathways are still shaped by compromise, confusion, or circumstance, making the system largely reactive. From reactive responses
