A day-long national conference was organised by AISECT and Rabindranath Tagore University centred on ‘Role of Social Entrepreneurship.’ The event was organized at Kushabhau Thackeray Convention Hall, Bhopal by Mr Vinay Upadhyay, Director, Tagore Vishwakala and Culture Centre. The key areas of importance in the conference were Technology, Strategies and Insights on Financial Inclusion, Skill Development and amp; Education, Social entrepreneurship as well as Technology-led innovation.
With over 65% of the country’s population in the rural areas, the need of the hour is to identify a working model that is inclusive and beneficial for all. The honourable Governor Mr Mangubhai Patel also added that India is rapidly moving towards becoming a world leader in entrepreneurial opportunities.

Efforts are being made to encourage entrepreneurship and innovation in the perspective of ‘Vocal for Local’ for an Atmanirbhar Bharat. He said that social-enterprise, skill-development, various activities of e-learning and area development are being conducted. Efforts have also been made to make youth self-reliant under Samarth Bharat Abhiyan in the adjoining areas of Raisen district.

He highlighted the importance of Industry academia collaboration as well as the importance of skilling in becoming job-ready. Sharing highlights on the skills in the telecom sector, he also said that the demand for drone applications will increase rapidly in future.

Social entrepreneurship is the only way to identify and solve the needs of the society and build a sustainable economic landscape. AISECT’s vision plan of setting up1 lakh touchpoints of AISECT Seva Kendra (ASK) across India and to establish Skill Development based University.

Highlighting the Skill Development initiatives undertaken by AISECT Group and Rabindranath Tagore University, Mr. Choubey mentioned that language and traditions are the core pillars of focus for the group in building a future-ready India. The also mentioned that the group is also establishing educational activities across North-East and South India.
