Request for Proposal for Skilling and Employability Initiatives for Youth from Nasscom

Nasscom Foundation is inviting RFPs from non-profit or for-profit organizations to support its Skilling and Employability Initiatives for Youth in Karnataka, Delhi-NCR, and Maharashtra. The goal is to provide foundational IT skills to 1,200 individuals, with 800 receiving domain-specific training in fields like BFSI, BPM, and Data Analysis, and placement opportunities for 480 participants.
Organizations with relevant expertise and presence in these regions are encouraged to submit their RFP response by Monday, July 01, 2024, 5:30 PM IST to rfp@nasscomfoundation.org.

Updates from the MSDE, NSDC, NCVET, UGC

NSDC and NSE India have signed an MoU to raise awareness, provide training, and support NPOs in listing on the Social Stock Exchange (SSE) platform.
The Apparel Sector Skill Council discussed India’s apparel sector gap analysis with MSDE, highlighting achievements: 10,000+ trainers and 4,600+ assessors certified, and 2M+ candidates trained through STT and 332,000+ via RPL programs.
Shri Jayant Chaudhary, Minister of MSDE has emphasized the need for enhanced focus on industrial training institutes (ITIs) and endorsed blended learning at both ITIs and National Skill Training Institutes (NSTIs).
