On 28th of March 2019, Anwesha Composite Education (ACE) Foundation celebrated its 4th anniversary. The 5th year brings a lot of promise with 5 manufacturing organisations already on board to support our Production Technician course with job assurance and sponsorship support. With support extended from industries in Howrah, Coimbatore, Jalandhar, Kanpur, Delhi, Bhavnagar and Anand, we would now be able to reach out to the youth all over India with employability opportunities closer to their domicile.

Industries have partnered  with us to extend their financial support, some even without mandated CSR provisions, to sponsor up to 80% of fees for young boys and girls from low income backgrounds. The support comes after 4 years of relentless strive towards quality vocational education and impactful methodology that not just ‘trains’ and ‘skills’ but gives a sustainable future to the children. This positive step from industries towards sustainable industrial growth will enable youth to become skill-ready and vocationally capable.

Production-Technician-Course-ACE-Foundation-The first industry support was extended by Rhino Machines in the year 2015 where they not only offered the space in their industrial premises but also created the infrastructure, got their employees trained as trainers for conducting industrial sessions for our students, offered placement assurance and sponsored 80% of the fees for the students. Since then, Rhino has been able to reap the benefits of improved production efficiency, upgraded technical knowledge of employees and an overall development of learning culture within the organisation. Also, the course is being conducted at industry premises of Rhino in Anand and has hands-on pedagogy ingrained in addition to learning in a live industry environment. The students undergo a 2-year Production Technician Multi-skill Vocational Education with specialisation in Electrical or Mechanical.

How industry can support next batch of courses: Production Technician Electrical (20 seats)  or Mechanical (20 seats)

Details about the courses: Production Technician Electrical (20 seats)  or Mechanical, commencing in July 2019

Name of the course: Production Technician Electrical (20 seats)  or Mechanical (20 seats)

Duration: 2 years

Location: Anwesha Composite Education Foundation, Anand, Gujarat

Entrance test: 4th May 2019  Eligibility: 10th appeared (10th fail/pass)

We invite industry partnerships for supporting scholarship to students from lower income backgrounds to pursue this course. The fees for the course is Rs. 6000 per month. Industry can support the fees of students starting from Rs. 1000 per month to Rs. 6000 per month for two years.

With just 60% of the children completing their education in India, the vast majority still remains unattended. The skilling and training programmes are effective in training the youth but there still remains a big gap in creating a vocational course that can supplement the learning that an academic education degree offers; which is employability with holistic learning. With solid proof of concept of 4 years, we are now on the roadmap of creating an alternate education pathway for 10th dropout students.  The vision is to offer an opportunity to every child who drops out of school for various different reasons and the industry support helps us fulfil this vision on a larger scale.

Rhino Machines, KYB Conmat, Jaivel Aeronautics, Steelcast Bhavnagar, Shanti Casting, we thank you for the confirmations.

Our endeavour to share the opportunity for self-sustenance and livelihood, continues as we understand this is a robust way out of poverty.
