Collaborations and partnerships are crucial to bring transformation in the skilling industry. With the outbreak of COVID-19, the year 2020 was a challenging year for the entire skilling ecosystem. As the pandemic brought skilling to a halt, some major partnerships changed the face of skilling by bringing the training online.
As the year 2021 is just around the corner, we would like all of us to look back at some of the landmark initiatives and partnerships form National Skill Development Corporation (NSDC) that took place in the year 2020.
- NSDC collaborates with LinkedIn to accelerate digital skills training for Indian youth
NSDC has collaborated with LinkedIn to provide access to free LinkedIn learning resources for digital skills that are in demand in today’s economy. Under the partnership, 10 free LinkedIn learning paths, consisting of 140 courses for a range of in-demand tech jobs, will be made available for free on eSkill India digital platform until 31st March, 2021. 2. NSDC and Microsoft to empower 1 lakh underserved young women with digital skills
NSDC has partnered with Microsoft to empower one lakh underserved young women with digital skills to enhance their employability. The program will be executed over next 10 months under Skill India Mission. 3. NSDC collaborates with BYJU’s to support skilling of teachers and trainers
NSDC has partnered with BYJU’s to support the skilling of teachers and trainers. BYJU’S will be supporting NSDC by providing free access to its educational content and tools to help the teachers. Additionally, BYJU’S will share its digital educational content as free licenses with the NSDC ecosystem to equip teachers and students for a quality learning experience. Read more…
4. NSDC partners FLO, the women’s wing of FICCI to empower women through skill training
NSDC has partnered FLO, the women’s wing of FICCI to empower women through skill training and to enhance their employability and promote entrepreneurship. NSDC has collaborated with TCS iON with the vision to provide uninterrupted online learning to millions of students across the country.
