Role of industry in placements in the apparel sector is crucial. The National Placement Cell at Apparel Training and Design Centre (ATDC) National Head Office plays a pivotal role between the industry and the student community through meaningful interaction to bring awareness to the faculty and the students and prepare them according to the changing demands of the industry.
It is also responsible for identifying the right candidate for the organization by inviting reputed companies from the export, domestic, retail, E-Commerce sector, and Overseas Company by organizing Rozgar Melas and placement drives for recruitment of students and thus providing constructive feedback.
Role of industry in placements in the apparel sector
ATDC has signed an MOU with AEPC, which has over 8000 registered manufacturers to create a strong linkage with the Garment Exporters through AEPC for the better placement of our students which gives a larger opportunity in PAN India.
Being in the industry for the past 25 years, ATDC has created a large network with key Apparel Exporters, Retailers, Designers, and E-Commerce in India and abroad.

ATDC’s National Placement Cell Initiatives
- ATDC is conducting ‘Rozgar Melas’ on a regular basis in major catchment areas and taking the industry there to recruit candidates and offer gainful employment to our students.
- Conduct Bi-Annual ‘Campus Placement Week’ for all ATDC Pan-India students during which reputed companies from India and Overseas are invited to take an interview and recruit students from the campus itself.
- ATDC conducts “WORKSHOPS” on a regular basis prior to Campus placements where students are guided on Soft Skills and prepare them to write resumes, hone presentation skills, face job interviews and aptitude tests so that they are ready to step into the industry on completing their course.
- ATDC had a strong Alumni network who is working in India and Abroad for handholding of the fresher’s in the industry. We conduct Alumni Meet for students and industry interaction.
