iMOVE organized an event, an online presentation titled “Renewable Energies and Cleantech across Sectors – Training Solutions for Green Economy Demands” for India on September 14, 2023. The event aimed to foster connections between Indian and German training providers. The event aimed to foster connections between Indian and German training providers. 

Four distinguished organizations, Christiani, Festo Didactic, Heinze Academy, and LD Didactic, were invited to showcase their training offerings in renewables and cleantech.

The event recognized the critical role of sustainable technology and eco-friendly energy supply in climate protection. It emphasized the importance of sustainability across various sectors in response to customer expectations.

The event featured a distinguished panel of experts, including Mr. Parmar Narendra, Sales Director at LD Didactic; Mr. Mohan Iyer, General Manager at Christiani; Mr. Volker Schmidt, Vice President of Asia Pacific at Festo; and Mr. Jan Heinze, Owner and Accountable Manager of Heinze Academy. Mr. Marcus Aust, Senior Advisor at iMOVE, moderated the event. The iMOVE team was represented by Ms. Silvia Niediek, Regional Manager; Mr. Arunachalam Karthikeyan, Head of iMOVE representation; and Ms. Christina Tschutschmanow, responsible for Event Management, Provider Pool, and the B2B marketplace at iMOVE.

During the presentation, Mr. Mohan Iyer showcased Christiani’s extensive expertise spanning over 90 years, underscoring their unwavering commitment to delivering high-quality, hands-on equipment and services. They also introduced their subsidiary, Christiani Sharpline, which operates in India and aims to introduce German-style technical vocational skills and learning. Mr. Mohan Iyer showcased product range encompasses an array of training equipment and didactic concepts, catering to vital sectors such as Industry 4.0, Automation Technology, Electronics, Mechatronics, Mechanics, Automotive/E-Vehicle Technology, HVAC/Sanitation, and Renewable Energies. Christiani’s offerings include state-of-the-art hardware and comprehensive didactics designed to empower instructors and trainees to pursue technical excellence.

Festo Didactic

Festo Didactic emerged as a key player offering laser-focused training solutions to integrate sustainability into workforce strategic planning. Mr. Volker Schmidt, during the presentation, showcased Festo’s expertise in aiding organizations in realizing their environmental sustainability objectives, encompassing resource optimization, waste reduction, pollution prevention, and the critical reduction of carbon footprints. Festo Didactic training topics encompass a broad spectrum, including decarbonization, energy transition, energy efficiency, industrial electrification, eMobility, renewable energies, smart grid, and sustainable manufacturing. Festo Didactic’s extensive array of technical qualification solutions extends to disciplines such as mechanics, Mechatronics, electrical engineering, Industry 4.0, IIoT, and AI, bolstered by digital training resources.

Heinze Academy

Mr. Jan Heinze from Heinze Academy recognized as a leading institute for upskilling and reskilling in the technical training domain, showcased the global reach and distinctive practical orientation that set it apart in the field. The academy specializes in delivering comprehensive qualification activities related to the burgeoning industries of hydrogen and lithium-ion cell technology, a response to the urgent need for skilled professionals in these rapidly expanding sectors.

LD Didactic

With a rich history dating back to 1850, LD Didactic has been at the forefront of providing cutting-edge training solutions in science and technology. During the presentation, Mr. Parmar Narendra explained LD Didactics’ offering of comprehensive teaching solutions that span all aspects of renewable energies and the green economy, catering to students across various educational institutions worldwide. These solutions are designed to be highly customizable in complexity, ensuring adaptability to individual learning needs. LD Didactic also provides a complete ecosystem known as LeyLab, facilitating the organization of diverse laboratory setups and their accompanying content.

The online event featured 10 to 15-minute presentations by each training provider. Following the presentations, participants had the opportunity to engage in breakout room discussions with the panellists, facilitating direct interaction and the exchange of ideas.

The iMOVE Online Presentation showcased four distinguished training providers, each offering valuable solutions to meet the demands of India’s growing green economy. These providers are well-equipped to assist organizations and individuals in acquiring the necessary skills and knowledge to contribute to sustainability and the renewable energy sector. As sustainability becomes an integral part of various industries, the role of competent and trained professionals is paramount. This event served as a platform for Indian stakeholders to explore collaborations with German training providers and further the green agenda.
