The Prime Minister’s Internship Scheme (PMIS) took a significant leap forward with the launch of its dedicated mobile app by Union Finance Minister Smt. Nirmala Sitharaman on March 17, 2025. Designed to streamline the internship application process, the PMIS App serves as a one-stop platform for young aspirants seeking industry exposure. The app is aimed at students, fresh graduates, and young job seekers, providing them with seamless access to internship opportunities in top Indian companies across various sectors.

Key features of the PMIS App

The newly launched app simplifies the application process and ensures seamless access to internship opportunities for eligible youth. Some of the app’s notable features include:

  • Intuitive Interface: A clean and user-friendly design for easy navigation.
  • Aadhaar-Based Registration: Candidates can register using Aadhaar face authentication.

Shri Harsh Malhotra highlighted that the app will greatly enhance accessibility, making it easier for young aspirants to secure valuable industry exposure.
