Andhra Pradesh

All skill development institutes to be brought under one umbrella: All skill development institutes are to be brought under the umbrella of Naipunya Prakasam. A plan has been created to provide training to 1,886 candidates in the coming three months and 40 courses in 15 fields have been curated for the same.

Gujarat

Tata Group to upgrade 225 ITIs in Gujarat: Tata Group is going to upgrade 225 ITIs with an aim to bridge the demand-supply gap in Gujarat with an investment of over Rs 7,000 crore. 

Jammu and Kashmir

Skill development training in embroidery work for women in Jammu and Kashmir: The government ITI Kathua is providing skill development training in phulkari embroidery and stitching work to several women. The government is also providing a stipend of Rs 2,000 monthly besides providing the necessary materials needed.

Odisha

Bag making training by NTPC: The NTPC Talcher Kaniha is going to offer a training program on non-woven bag making to Women Self-Help Groups with the objective of empowering women with skill development.
