The minimum qualification required is Class 5 pass to pursue “Sewing Machine Operator” while Class 10 or ITI or Diploma to become a “Solar PV Installer”, informed the official.

AR-VR innovation lab to be established at IIT-Jodhpur: IIT-Jodhpur has collaborated with Samsung to establish AR-VR innovation lab. The lab has been established with an aim of skilling students with new technologies such as AR and VR to make them job-ready. 

Telangana

30,000 Telangana students to get free skills training by IBM: The government of Telangana has partnered with IBM India to provide free skills training to 30,000 Telangana students to enhance their technical and professional skills. IBM will work with TASK to offer a free digital education platform for the same.

Uttar Pradesh

18 lakh unskilled migrant workers to be trained in Uttar Pradesh: The government of Uttar Pradesh is going to provide skill training to the migrant workers to make them job ready. There are 18 lakh workers who are unskilled and require training to be brought into the mainstream.
