Mahindra Group to train another five lakh youth in five years: Mahindra Group is going to train another five lakh youth under its various skills training initiative over the next five years in the domains of agriculture, healthcare, e-commerce, services and entrepreneurship in addition to technology.

Tata Strive collaborates with SKF India: Tata Strive has collaborated with SKF India to explore and develop skill development initiatives. SKF India and Tata STRIVE will jointly develop and deliver vocational training courses for unemployed and/or employed young people within their operational areas.

UNESCO announced the launch of the TVET reform project two: UNESCO in association with the European Union announced the launch of the TVET Reform Project 2. The TVET Reform Program aims to improve the effectiveness of the TVET system in Iraq by equipping youth and adults with the required skills.

Skill School for unemployed youths by ESL Steel Limited: ESL Steel Limited has launched  skill schools to impart vocational training to unemployed youths. The minimum qualification required is Class 5 pass to pursue “Sewing Machine Operator” while Class 10 or ITI or Diploma to become a “Solar PV Installer”, informed the official.

An airstrip to be constructed in Madhya Pradesh: Northern Coalfields Ltd is going to provide Rs. 17.3 crores of funding for the construction of an airstrip in Madhya Pradesh.

SIDAC got Centre of Excellence (CoE) Status from the government: The government of India has granted Centre of Excellence (CoE) Status to the State Institute for Development of Arts and Crafts (SIDAC).

18 lakh unskilled migrant workers to be trained in Uttar Pradesh: The government of Uttar Pradesh is going to provide skill training to the migrant workers to make them job ready. There are 18 lakh workers who are unskilled and require training to be brought into the mainstream.
