The National Skills Test 2026, offered by the Tata Indian Institute of Skills (IIS), is the national-level, merit-based entry assessment for all skill-based programs at the institute. Designed to ensure transparency, fairness, and appropriate program alignment, NST provides students and first-time job seekers with a standardized pathway to access industry-aligned skill development programs.

Take the next step towards industry-aligned skill careers

The National Skills Test (NST) is more than an entrance assessment; it is a gateway to structured learning, industry relevance, and meaningful career opportunities at the Tata Indian Institute of Skills. At a time when employers increasingly value demonstrated skills over credentials alone, NST enables learners to make a confident, informed start to their professional journey.

With clearly defined pathways, hands-on training, and transparent admissions, NST 2026 offers learners a rare opportunity to align their potential with industry demand. Registrations are now open, and eligible candidates are encouraged to apply, secure their place through the National Skills Test, and take a decisive step towards building future-ready, employable skills.
