IL&FS video testimonials of candidates trained under PMKVY and CSR Projects

IL&FS presents video testimonials of candidates trained and placed through various skill development schemes and initiatives.

Pradhan Mantri Kaushal Vikas Yojana (PMKVY)

Pooja Sharma, trained under the Pradhan Mantri Kaushal Vikas Yojana (PMKVY), as a Sewing Machine Operator. Upon completion of the course, Pooja was recruited at Orient Fashion, Gurgaon. She is very happy for making a decision that changed her life.
PMKVY Skill Certification Scheme enables a large number of Indian youth to take up industry-relevant skill training and help them secure a better livelihood.

Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR)

Goodyear, has been working for the benefit of the environment and communities by building a culture where safety and wellness are valued by each other. They have now joined hands with SEEDS & IL&FS Skills to deliver Samagra, an upskilling training programme for four wheeler technicians. Samagra focuses on delivering occupational skills to car repair workers working in the unorganized sector and garage owners. The program is delivered through a 10-day classroom training programme followed by an assessment. Samagra programme imparts skills and knowledge about Engine Basics, Tyre Handling, Customer Satisfaction, Health and safety and Financial Literacy. The trainees are also given safety gear that they can use on the workshop floor to protect themselves from any incident.

Swabalamban, CSR of Oil India Limited (OIL) has brought winds of change in the life of youth of Assam. OIL has partnered with IL&FS Education & SEEDS Impact to implement its CSR across Education, Skills & Health sector in the districts Dibrugarh, Tinsukia, Sivasagar of Assam. The ideas is to bring these districts and its people at par with the developed areas. Deepa Upadhaya, a Hospitality Trainee narrates her story, how OIL helped her and her friends getting skilled and placed.

Castrol Eklavya, an apt name for an upskilling programme for two & three wheeler auto mechanics, is building capacities of road side auto service mechanics by delivering on-site training. The programme has trained and certified 8,000+ across 9 states – Punjab, Himachal Pradesh, Gujarat, Bihar, Assam, Chhattisgarh, Odisha, Maharashtra & Tamil Nadu. This programme trains the mechanics in advanced technologies and soft skills. The training has helped them increase their productivity and profitability.

Castrol India has pioneered a road safety programme – Sarathi Mitra for truck drivers in India. IL&FS Skills is the lead implementing agency for the holistic programme that focuses on road safety, financial literacy & vision checkup. Sarathi Mitra provides support in improving safety and improving truck drivers lives through financial literacy.

Rohit Vaish, Machine Operator (CNC) was trained under Nalanda Foundation, the CSR Programme of IL&FS. Rohit is now upskilling himself with VMC Milling Machining Technology. Nalanda Foundation programme has trained and placed more than 2,900 youth with 500+ employees across India.
