Rashid Husain, Courier Delivery Executive, PMKK Empower Pragati, Moradabad, UP

Rashid hails from deprived family. His father is a farmer. He is a graduate. He came to know about the training institute from a student who lives nearby his residence and was already enrolled in our training centre. He was not financially stable to pay training fees at any other private training institute and came to know that we this training centre provides skill knowledge without any charge. The counsellors guided him and advised him to take Courier Delivery Executive job role, because he had an inclination towards this sector due to his relatives already working in the same sector.

Empower Pragati_Rashid HusainHe is a brilliant student, who needs a small push, and can overcome all obstacles. He was not very sure about the career choice in the start, but he was confident enough about the teaching methodology and trainers’ support. He was always present during the theoretical as well as practical sessions related to the course. He was always punctual in class and had keen interest towards attending soft skill classes also. He inculcated critical thinking skills and organizing skills. The course was of 310 hours.

He got placed in Bandhan Bank, Moradabad and earns Rs. 12,000 per month to support his family financially. After course completion, Rashid not only secured a job in Bandhan Bank but made his parents and whole PMKK Moradabad proud of his efforts.

Sachin Kumar, Retail Trainee Associate, PMKK Empower Pragati, Amroha

Sachin belongs to a family where his father, a farmer by profession is the sole earner for the whole family. He has studied till class 12. He didn’t have money also to pay for a course which would pave a path for him to start a job. After mobilization, the candidate visited the training centre for counselling. During the counselling session, we tried to understand his interest, which was towards retail sector due to huge upcoming boom in the industry. So, Sachin opted for Retail Trainee Associate course. He joined this training institute because during mobilization and counselling session, he came to know that the course and certification are not only affiliated with NSDC, but also free of cost. It won’t cost him anything to join the course at PMKK Amroha. Moreover, he was unemployed before joining, and needed a job to support his family livelihood.

Empower Pragati_Sachin KumarHe wanted to pursue a career in the retail sector, but he was clueless about technical and industrial knowledge before entering the industry. So he joined Empower Pragati and took Retail Trainee Assistant course. He was always regular in class and took active participation in all educational activities. He is a good learner and observer. He took active participation in the extra-curricular activities also, which helped him gain self-confidence, sense of teamwork and positive attitude. The course was of 3 months.

After the completion of the course, he got placed in Randstand India Pvt. Ltd. as supervisor and provides financial support to his family. He earns a salary pf 13,342 pm now.

Sompal, Handset Repair Engineer, PMKK Empower Pragati, Sambhal

Although being a graduate, Sompal was unemployed and didn’t have much of confidence before joining PMKK Sambhal. He came to know about the course through mobilization activity- flyer distribution in the whole village, so as to spread awareness regarding the skill education and he visited the centre after the activity. He wanted to start his career and support his family financially.  Sompal was already interested to be a part of the telecom sector, so during counselling session, he was advised to enrol in the handset repair course.

Empower Pragati_Sompal_SambhalAfter the training, he not only got placed in Shiv Shakti Biotechnologies, but also is a motivated person who is ready to face initial challenges of life. He never skipped any training session, be it theoretical or practical. Every assignment was completed by him on time and had thoughtful insights. He acquired handset repairing skills and soft skills. He also acquired the practical knowledge, in terms of repairing a mobile, which would further provide him an opportunity to pursue career in future. The course was of 101 days. He earns 8200 pm now.
