Om Hari, UP, CNC Operator, B-ABLE
Om hails from village Mundera (U.P.), and had a small shop there, from which he earned his livelihood. Om Hari contacted BASIX Academy for Building Lifelong Employability, after learning that there was a CNC training available at B-ABLE Opsan Angira Centre, a renowned CNC Centre in NCR region with recommendable training and placement record. After completing this 60 days training from B-ABLE, he initially started earning from 7500/- pm, and is now earning 12000+. From 2015, he has been working as CNC Operator at Bucher Hydrolic Private Limited, Manesar. Om is so pleased and thankful for the training which he had attained via B-ABLE. He expressed, “This CNC training gave a great hike to my income and now I am able to invest in savings also. I am taking better care of my child and suggesting my other friends too to take this training from B-able Opsan Angira CNC Training Centre Panchgaon Manesar.” Presently, he is earning at 14,000/month.
Om has been trained under a CSR program funded by Nalanda Foundation. Candidates get mobilized from diverse states like Haryana, Rajasthan, Uttar Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh, Bihar, Jharkhand, Uttrakhand, Punjab, Himachal Pradesh, Delhi NCR and more to pursue this two months’ course.
Shailendra Singh, UP, Eye Mitra Optician, B-ABLE
Shailendra Singh is an Eye Mitra Optician (EMO) from village Bahuaa Bajar in Fatehpur district of Uttar Pradesh. Before becoming an EMO, Shailendra Singh was working as a photographer and was just able to meet his basic livings. Being in a small village, he never thought his life will get completely transformed after becoming an EMO, and this was made possible after he joined the program in Kanpur training centre.
Today he is working with full enthusiasm and is a source of inspiration to many youth in his community. Shailendra’s journey is a true impact story of EMO program on the changing lives of many such young entrepreneurs every year.
He was trained under B-Able. B-ABLE has been training youth to become eye-mitras in collaboration with 2.5 NVG an imitative of ESSILOR. A person gets trained for 9 months before he/she sets up a shop where the eye check-up is done and required spectacles are made and given a very affordable price. This is a high impact programme and completed over 40, 00,000 vision screenings so far.
Ankit Dubey, Customer Sales Associate, UP, B-ABLE
Ankit Dubey, from Faizabad (UP), after completing his training from BASIX Academy for Building Lifelong Employability is now well placed at Reliance Trends, Lucknow. He got admission in Retail Trainee Associates course under Reliance Foundation project after getting information from B-ABLE mobilizer.
Ankit had a family income of merely 5000/- pm from which they hardly earned their livelihood. After completing this training from B-ABLE, he has now started earning 8500/month. Presently, B-ABLE has entered into an agreement with Reliance Foundation for the training of Customer Service/Trainee Associates. He is working as Customer Sales Associates at Reliance SMSL Limited (Reliance Trends) at Lucknow.
Ankit is so pleased and thankful for the training which he had attained via B-ABLE. He expressed, ‘I am very happy after getting job with the help of B-ABLE and Reliance Foundation. I am now extending financial support to my family and capable of sending 4000 rupees to my father. I want to move ahead in the industry in future. I am very thankful to both.’B-ABLE has imparted training for Customer Service/Trainee Associates under this CSR project of Reliance Foundation. The project has recently completed with 78% candidates’ placements.
