AASSC to organize Training of Trainer (ToT) program in collaboration with DFID

As a part of the Skills for Jobs program, Aerospace and Aviation Sector Skill Council (AASSC), the apex body in skill development in the emerging Aerospace and Aviation sector in India will be conducting Training of Trainer (ToT) program in Bangalore and Delhi in collaboration with  Department for International Development (DFID), a UK Government Department responsible for administering overseas aid. This ToT program, focusing on international best practices, is a value addition to individuals and the training process. In addition, the ToT certification is one of the mandatory requirements for SMART affiliation of the training centres.

Here are the details of the training program:

Training of Trainer (ToT) program by AASSC in collaboration with DFID in Bangalore from 17th February

The ToT program in Bangalore is going to start on 17th February. It is a 5-day program and it is going to conclude on 21st February. This training program is for the job role of Airline Customer Service Executive and Airline Reservation. The venue for the program will be at HAL- TTI campus, Bangalore. 

Training of Trainer (ToT) program by AASSC in collaboration with DFID in Delhi from 20th February

The Training of Trainer (ToT) program by AASSC in collaboration with DFID in Delhi is going to start on 20th February. It is a 5-day program and it is going to conclude on 25th February. This training program is for the job role of Airline Cabin Crew. The venue for the program will be at GMR Aviation Academy, Indira Gandhi International Airport, Terminal 2, Delhi. 

Apart from the venue and the date, other details related to program and assessment are the same for both the ToT programs. Here are the information regarding the same:

Details of the Training of Trainer (ToT) program 

The training will be delivered as two components. Those  components are:

  • The first component will be delivered by Master Trainers from Dudley College, UK. First three days of training will focus on both Domain and Platform skills. Training shall be specific to the Job Roles of Airline Customer Service Executive & Airline Reservation Agent. 
  • The second component will be delivered by Master Trainer of AASSC. It will be an additional platform skills focussed training and will be delivered on the last two days of the program.

Details of the assessment process for the Training of Trainer (ToT) program

The training will be followed by an assessment process, detail for which are given below,

  • The assessment will be carried out by a third party assessment agency affiliated under AASSC for the platform skills on the 5th day.
  • The assessment for the domain skills will be conducted online. The details of the assessment date will be shared to the participants later and to be conducted the following week of the training

All the participants will be given a participation certificate by Dudley College on the 5th day. The participating candidates will be certified by AASSC based on the outcomes of these assessments.
