Navonmesh 2025: Igniting innovation, entrepreneurship, and creativity

Navonmesh 2025, India’s biggest innovation carnival, created an extraordinary platform for young innovators, budding entrepreneurs, startups, and creative thinkers to bring their ideas to life. Organized by Atal Incubation Centre (AIC), in association with Rabindranath Tagore University (RNTU) and Scope Global Skill University, Bhopal, the two-day extravaganza celebrated the spirit of innovation, collaboration, and enterprise.

Celebration of innovation and entrepreneurship

The event witnessed participation from over 1,600 students, entrepreneurs, startups, investors, researchers, policymakers, and industry leaders. The vibrant atmosphere was charged with passion, ambition, and future-ready ideas.

With 440 innovators, startups, and entrepreneurs shortlisted to pitch and showcase their innovations across 8+ curated tracks, the event featured dynamic competitions, exhibitions, workshops, and learning sessions.

Keynote sessions: Inspiration from industry leaders

The keynote sessions ignited inspiration across the audience.

  • On Day 1, Mr. Aman Gupta, Co-founder and CMO of boAt, energized the crowd with lessons from his entrepreneurial journey and Shark Tank experience.
  • Day 2 brought Mr. Rohit Kapoor, CEO of Swiggy, who emphasized adaptability, innovation, and customer focus in scaling businesses.

Both sessions offered students and aspiring entrepreneurs valuable insights into startup culture, business scaling, and staying resilient in today’s competitive environment.

Strategic launches and announcements

  • Book launch: Big Country, Little Business authored by Shri Santosh Chaubey, Dr. Siddharth Chaturvedi, and Dr. Pallavi Rao Chaturvedi was unveiled, offering critical insights into India’s entrepreneurial landscape.
  • Drone Center of Excellence (CoE): Dr. Siddharth Chaturvedi, Executive Vice President, AISECT, announced the establishment of Bhopal’s first Center of Excellence for Medium-Range Drones at Scope Global Skill University.

  • Startup Policy Support: <strong>Shri Chaitanya Kashyap, Minister of MSMEs, MP, reaffirmed Madhya Pradesh’s commitment to becoming India’s leading startup hub within two years, supported by the state’s new startup policy.

  • AI-powered face and voice recognition assistants

In addition to showcasing products, Navonmesh 2025 created large-scale impact through:

  • AIC’s larger ecosystem has impacted 30,000+ students
  • Nurtured 500+ startups
  • Incubated 122 startups
  • Facilitated 50+ funded startups with investments totaling ₹80 million
  • Organized 400+ training sessions and innovation-driven events

Navonmesh 2025 offered diverse, engaging opportunities for all participants:

  • Young Inventors Fair: School students (Grades 6–12) addressed real-world issues like climate change, water sanitation, and smart cities.
  • InnoMaker – Product Showcase: UG/PG students turned ideas into functional products with expert mentorship.
  • First Cheque: 15 startups pitched live to leading investors to secure initial funding.
  • PlanX: Business Plan Battle: 16 teams presented entrepreneurial plans before a jury of industry leaders.
  • Binary Battle: Software Hackathon: A 24-hour coding marathon promoting innovation and teamwork.
  • Ad Mad Show: 15+ teams blended humor, branding, and storytelling in creative campaigns.
  • ViralVerse: The Creators Challenge: Digital creators competed to make viral content and connect with brands.
  • Robo Warriors: Teams built and battled robots, testing engineering and strategic skills.
  • Startup-Expo: Startups showcased products and explored investment opportunities.
  • Shodh Shikhar: A forum for research-based entrepreneurial ideas and academic innovation.

Shaping the future: A strong step forward

Navonmesh 2025 not only celebrated the spirit of innovation and enterprise but also laid a strong foundation for the future. By highlighting the role of AI, ML, IoT, and emerging technologies, it underscored the need for inclusive, skill-based education and robust public-private partnerships. With a clear focus on empowering underserved communities through innovation, the event reaffirmed India’s commitment to bridging the skill gap and preparing for the future of work. As a catalyst for opportunity and impact, Navonmesh 2025 will continue to inspire the next generation of innovators and entrepreneurs across the country.
