National Skill Development Corporation (NSDC) has partnered with Hero Vired, India’s premium EdTech company to upskill Indian youth and connect them with relevant employment opportunities. The partnership also aims to offer internships, industry projects and financial support to professionals and higher education aspirants.

The partnership seeks to create creative training programmes in emerging and relevant technologies like drone deployment and game design, among other things. Hero Vired, as the technology innovation partner, will assist NSDC by developing a digital platform for learner certificates. This collaborative partnership will also support NSDC’s goal of developing a future-ready workforce through advanced skill training in a variety of industries. Hero Vired will be able to contribute to NSDC’s mission of changing the skill landscape as a result of the relationship.

NSDC’s skill training programs focus on enhancing skills, matching international standards through active industry engagement, and developing a necessary framework for standards, curriculum, and quality assurance. Leveraging the wide network of the organisation, the collaboration will allow institutions and businesses to access its range of courses and learning programs available through Hero Vired’s integrated platform. All programs available through the collaboration are aligned to the National Skill Qualification Framework (NSQF) and will be eco-certified by NSDC.

Ved Mani Tiwari, Chief Operating Officer, NSDC said, “The partnership with Hero Vired will focus on upskilling India’s youth by building their capabilities in new-age skills. The economic landscape is changing rapidly and NSDC endeavours to enable the country’s youth to adapt to this shift. Our vision is to enhance, support and bring together private sector initiatives for skill development. Through this association and by introducing such innovative programs that augment learning in advanced technologies, we endeavour to make the youth competent and future-ready.”

NSDC partners Hero ViredAkshay Munjal, CEO and Founder, Hero Vired said, “Hero Vired and NSDC share a vision of reimagining education and skilling in the country. At Hero Vired, the pedagogy consists of instructor-led and hands-on learning. We offer select programs where we are closely involved in the academic side of the business, i.e., creating academic content and delivering it in line with industry requirements – all of which will be aided by the NSDC partnership. We already offer programs in several niche technologies such as artificial intelligence, machine learning, data science, fintech, and game designing, and more, and this collaboration will improve the employability of the youth and open up multifarious avenues for their professional development.”

The programs will focus on holistic end-to-end learning and equip learners with a comprehensive understanding of not only tools and technologies across relevant fields, but the business aspect and soft skills required for problem-solving. While students enrolled in part-time programs at Hero Vired will get a chance to work on industry projects, full-time enrollees will be given internship opportunities where they will work with organisations on solving real-life problems in their domains.

Hero Vired is committed to reimagining education by supporting those who cannot afford it. The company will provide a loan guarantee for the duration of the program (6-11 months) to the first 300 learners during the financial year 2021-22.

NSDC will also be a hiring partner, thus, it will have special access to faculty inputs on learners based on their hiring needs. This will enable NSDC to access the top talent under the Hero Vired programs. Additionally, Hero Vired will create customised learning solutions, ensuring a seamless learner and partner onboarding process, offering end-to-end program delivery. This will enable successful learning outcomes, and ultimately prepare young minds for the jobs of the future. The skill seekers and professionals can access the online courses on https://herovired.com/, equipping themselves in new-age trades.
