Being industry-ready is a prerequisite in today’s world for a successful career growth. Nettur Technical Training Foundation (NTTF), a pioneering institution, has been providing industry-relevant technical training to ensure the industry readiness of its students for the last six decades.

The courses offered at NTTF are well balanced with theory and hands-on practical training which gives all NTTF alumni a major advantage over others. As of today, many NTTF alumni have embarked on the journey of lifetime opportunities. They have been quite successful in all the fields that they have chosen. And getting trained from NTTF has played a big role in their success.

In this Success Story, Team NSN presents the journey of some such talented and highly successful alumni from NTTF. Read on to know what they have to say about their journey as NTTF alumni,

Reliving his journey as an NTTF alumnus so far, Mr Gunalan Thanikachalam says, “I completed my PG in Tool Engineering from NTTF in 2007. The course has provided me with the required hands-on experience and made me industry-ready from Day 1.  The theory part was also well-explained to us by our trainers which helped us understand and retain the concepts. The unique combination of theory and practice helped me build the much-required expertise in the automotive domain.

How NTTF ensures industry-readiness of students through quality technical trainingAfter completing your course from NTTF, you will be able to perform from day one in the industry. Ms. P. V. Rajalakshmi, Founder and Technical Head, Mantra Leistung

Even in the 1970s, when technical education was difficult for women, NTTF provided an opportunity to Ms. P. V. Rajalakshmi to explore her passion for the technical domain, who later became the first woman Tool and Die Engineer in Asia. She has embarked on the journey of entrepreneurship and is the Founder and Technical Head of Mantra Leistung.

Sharing her outstanding journey as an NTTF alumna, Ms. P. V. Rajalakshmi says “I joined a 4-year training program in Tool and Die Engineering in Nettur Technical Training Foundation (NTTF). I was the lone female Tool & Die student of the whole institution in the country. Training in NTTF during 1978 was very strict, time bound and every action was valued and validated including attitude and behaviour. Tool making and related machining were done in a conventional method and hands-on skills were considered as a major ability. We had daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly and semester tests and evaluations which used to filter the weaker students and termination was normal procedure.”
