Beauty and Wellness college by Naturals: Naturals celebrated its 20th anniversary with the launch of Beauty and Wellness college. The courses offered by the college will be in accordance with the direction given by the course curriculum of the Beauty and Wellness Sector Skill Council (BWSSC).

3rd edition of ‘New India Summit’: CREDAI hosted the 3rd edition of “New India Summit ” at Naya Raipur. The objective behind was to foster development and strengthen the roadmap for growth of real estate in non-metro cities.

Andhra Pradesh

Sustainable industries in Andhra Pradesh: Andhra Pradesh is focusing on attracting more industries to Andhra Pradesh and the thrust is on encouraging non-polluting and green industries. Visakhapatnam is among six pilot districts  that have been selected by DPIIT for promotion of sustainable industries. 

Andhra Pradesh to become a skill development hub: A centralised monitoring institute is going to be created within a year which will focus on improving curriculum and introducing skill development programs in the state education system.

Chhattisgarh

Advanced sports academies to be set up in Chhattisgarh: The Chhattisgarh Sports Development Authority is planning to set up sports academies in different areas of the state with an aim to make policy decisions in the field of sports.

Government re-constitutes Jammu and Kashmir SDM: The Government of India re-constituted JKSDM and its Governing Council. Skill Development Mission will be headed by Lieutenant Governor and Governing Council will be headed by Advisor(S) to the Lieutenant Governor

Karnataka

IIMB and BIAL hosts Aerospace and Aviation Conference: IIM Bangalore and BIAL hosted a one-day long conference on the future of aerospace and aviation. Senior professionals from the aerospace industry participate in the conference.

Apprenticeship and recruitment fair to be held in Tamil Nadu:  Regional Directorate of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship (RDSDE) in association with the commissionerate of Employment would conduct trade apprentice engagement and recruitment fairs in seven regions of Tamil Nadu.

Telangana

Telangana to introduce AI and robotics courses in schools and degree colleges: The Telangana Government is going to introduce AI and robotics courses in government schools and degree colleges during the academic year 2020-21.

Two-day skill exhibition and employment fair: In a two-day skill exhibition and employment fair, organized at Varanasi, 1100 youth were selected for employment. 95 companies from 20 sectors participated in the employment fair.
