Key Points to Consider

The eligibility criteria and lending conditions for skill-loan schemes can vary across banks and may change over time. Learners should check the bank’s latest official information before applying, particularly for interest rates, eligible courses, documentation, repayment terms and application procedures.

It is also important to confirm that the specific training program and institution meet the bank’s eligibility requirements. The availability of a skill-loan scheme does not automatically mean that every skill course qualifies for financing.

For learners considering a skill-development program, comparing the eligible course, total cost, loan amount, interest rate, repayment period and other applicable conditions can help them understand the financing commitment before applying.

  • Technical skills may get you into a workplace. But what helps you navigate it?That was the conversation we explored last week at NSTI Women, Hyderabad, during our session on the human side of employability with the young CTS students. The students participated with enthusiasm and curiosity. A big thank you to Deputy Director Ms. Arulselvi for the warm welcome and for taking us through the institute.Walking through the practical classrooms and interacting with students and faculty gave us an immersive glimpse into the learning happening across areas such as Cosmetology, Architectural Draughtsman, Fashion Design Technology and AI & IoT.As we moved from one classroom to another, it was interesting to see the students and faculty at work and hear about their project goals and experiences. It also reinforced something we often talk about at NSN, technical learning and transferable skills cannot really be separated when we talk about employability. We left with plenty to think about, and hopefully, the students did too.#technicaltraining #employability #iti #skills #education #technology #ai
