We all know these are difficult times but through our support and love, this too shall pass. We all are Skill Ambassadors and right now we can inspire the world with our skills. A crisis is the time for innovation and to learn something new. And what can be a better time than this to learn a new skill when we all are self-isolating ourselves in our homes? The whole world is fighting a difficult battle. To help skill enthusiasts stay motivated in this time of crisis, WorldSkills India has started a campaign “Skill from Home”.

The #SkillFromHome contest will run from 31st March, 2020 to 17th April, 2020. All entries received outside the Contest Period shall automatically be disqualified. If you think you are skilled, then this is your chance to showcase your skills. You can win exciting prizes. Entries will be accepted from 31st March 11.00 AM till 17th April 8:00 PM.

Skill from Home challengeTo enter this contest, participants must:

Step 1: Like the official Facebook/Instagram/Twitter page of IndiaSkills

  • Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/IndiaSkills
  • Twitter: https://twitter.com/WorldSkillsInd
  • Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/worldskillsindia/

Step 2: Change your profile name to “Skill from Home”

Step 3: Add “<skill name> from home” in bio. E.g., Cooking From Home or Welding From Home etc.

Step 4: Take a screenshot and publish it on Facebook or Twitter or Instagram. Don’t forget to tag IndiaSkills and use hashtag #SkillFromHome

As part of the contest, you need to post a photo/video where you are showcasing your skill when you are at home. Photos / videos submitted should not infringe any copyright rules. Winners will be selected based on the most creative and innovative entries.

Users must follow all the instructions of this contest. Any person found to be participating without adhering to the prerequisites would be immediately disqualified. Each one of us can participate in the campaign by following some simple instructions. Let’s be a part of the campaign and share the skills that we have learned while staying at our home.
