Industry-integrated training programs in Aerospace sector from BridgeNow Academy

Bridging the skill gaps in the engineering students and upskilling engineers, who are employed, is of high priority in the aerospace sector. Industry-integrated training program adopts work-oriented learning framework to equip students with requisite knowledge and skills to meet the industry requirements. It integrates academic learning with its practical application in the workplace and focuses on learning outcomes and problem-solving. The main aim of the training is to ensure that students develop the ability to integrate their learning through a combination of industry centric academic and work-related activities.

BridgeNow Academy, a P3 India initiative, has designed a wide range of training programs for fresh Engineering graduates, corporate employees, government employees and defence veterans to prepare them for suitable job roles. These skill-based courses are also offered through CSR initiatives and central and state government sponsored skill development projects for underprivileged sections of the society.

The industry-integrated training programs, in key engineering skills, bridge the skill gap between academic qualifications and industry requirements by making engineering students employable. These courses provide the aerospace industry with:

Structural Design

The objective of this course is to

  • Gain proficiency in designing Aerospace Structures, including advanced Material Knowledge, Design Optimization, Design Customization, Aircraft Interiors, Concession activities along with hands-on trainings on all the relevant tools.
  • Meet Aerospace Design Principles and Aerospace Design Standards by following Aerospace Materials, Aircraft Structural Design
  • Learn to use 3D Modelling Service, 2D Drafting Services, Concept Design, Product Design using Catia v5

Potential job roles

Primary and Secondary Structural design, Aircraft Mechanical system installation, Concessions activities, Aircraft modifications, Upgrades and Customization programs, Aircraft Interiors.

Benefits of this course

  • The ability to analyze and investigate previous and current design, creation of prototype to check deviation in the existing design
  • Optimize the design according to the Stress Team / FEA Team recommendations

Structural Analysis

The objective of this course is to

  • Prepare the candidate for the role of an Aerospace Stress Analyst of Structures including advanced Material knowledge, Design optimization, Concession activities along with hands-on trainings on all the relevant Tools.
  • The ability to handle FEA on Airframe Structures, Linear Static Analysis, Non-Linear Analysis, Hand Calculations, Fatigue and Damage Tolerance Analysis, Repair and Concessions
  • Learn how to use the tools Hypermesh, Nastran, Patran

Potential job roles

Structural Analysis, Concessions activities and Fatigue & Damage Tolerance analysis (F&DT)

  • The ability to analyze structure to identify the critical region and redesign sizing of the component depending upon the Analysis results
  • Optimize the design according to the Design Team constraints

Aerospace Technical Publications

The objective of this course is to:

  • Prepare the candidate to play a key role in maintaining an Aircraft in air-worthiness condition by learning the skills of creating Technical Manuals that describe the Capabilities, Use, Maintenance and Support activities of an Aircraft.
  • Create Aircraft Manuals (Aircraft Maintenance Manual, Component Maintenance Manual, Structural Repairs Manual, Illustrated Parts Catalogue) are created as per Industry Standards such as ATA 100, iSpec 2200, S1000D and STE – using the tools Epic Editor, ISO Draw
