Ms. Anita Rajan, CEO, Tata STRIVE and VP Tata Community Initiatives Trust will address in a session on Employability Coaching – Democratizing Professional Coaching for the leaders of tomorrow. This session will explore implications, options and way forward on this vital issue.
According to the UN, young people accounted for 33% of the world population in 2020, making them the largest demographic globally. In the poorest countries, this figure is projected to increase to 62% by 2050. Education and youth employment are essential for reaping this demographic dividend. Despite many skill training initiatives by Governments, NGOs, and others, the lack of employability of youth has been a concern. Professional Coaches who operate at the boardroom level, need to be available, accessible and affordable at the ‘Classroom Level’ to enhance youth employability skills through coaching.
