■ NTPC Kanti won the India CSR Award 2025 for empowering women in Bihar through skill development under the Livelihood Creation (Large Organisation) category.
■ Tamil Nadu Skill Development Corporation (TNSDC) and HCL Foundation signed an MoU to upskill 2,500 rural youth in Thoothukudi with digital skills and create IT/ITES employment opportunities.
■ NSDC and Redington Foundation launched a Skill India Centre in Baraut to train 600 rural youth and women in electronics and IT-ITeS skills.
■ PNB MetLife launched ‘FutureReady’ with GUSEC and Xcelevate to train underprivileged youth in 21st-century skills and support social-impact startups.
■ Hettich Poddar Wood Working Institute signed an MoU with Biesse to advance woodworking skills, expanding their collaboration to Mumbai.
■ VOC Port’s CEMS celebrated skill programme graduates, achieving 100% placement in Welder and CNC batches.
■ NALCO’s CSR spending rose 21.3% to ₹61.3 crore in FY 2024-25, supporting rural development, healthcare, education, and sustainability.
■ GHCL Foundation empowered 5,500 rural Gujarat youth, mostly girls, through NSDC-linked VTIs offering industry-ready training.
■ Vedanta empowered over 12 lakh youth and children in FY25 through education, digital learning, and skill initiatives across 16 states.
■ Ladli Foundation and Avdheshanandji Mission launch ‘Institute of Future Skilling’ in Delhi to train 2,000 underprivileged youth in digital technologies.
