Designed to ensure transparency, fairness, and appropriate program alignment, NST provides students and first-time job seekers with a standardized pathway to access industry-aligned skill development programs.

All admissions to TATA IIS programs are routed through this assessment framework, reinforcing a structured and merit-driven approach to skill-based education and employability.

The National Skills Test (NST) is more than an entrance assessment; it is a gateway to structured learning, industry relevance, and meaningful career opportunities at the TATA Indian Institute of Skills.
