Online platforms, yoga apps, and wearable technology have democratized access to yoga, allowing people to practice anytime and anywhere. Live streaming and AI-driven personalized coaching have enabled instructors to reach a global audience and provide real-time feedback, enhancing the overall practice experience. These advancements have opened up new opportunities for growth and innovation in the yoga industry.

Emerging job roles, training, skills and education in Yoga

With tremendous potential for creating jobs, Yoga industry creates a huge demand for Yoga professionals who can train, mentor, counsel, guide and take up many other roles in the larger spectrum of the Health and Wellness industry in India. However, the training and skill development ecosystem for Yoga is yet to take off! At present, three Sector Skill Councils (SSCs) represent the industry perspective and contribute to various aspects of training, self-employment and placement.
