Indian Plumbing Skills Council (IPSC) will organize the “Plumbing Skills Mahotsav 2019” on 3rd Feb 2019,Sunday at Thyagaraj Sports Complex, New Delhi.
The event ,which is India’s largest event of the plumbing community will showcase exhibitions of latest plumbing product, launch of a mobile App called ‘Plumber Konnect’, Mega Plumber meets, Training and assessment of Plumbers etc. There will be Exchange of MoUs (Industry & Knowledge Partners), Felicitation of Certificates to Plumbers, Placement / Offer Letter Distribution, Awards for Exhibitors in Each Category, Lucky Draws and Event souvenir release.

The event aims to create better employment opportunities for the Plumbing Workforce. It will also provide networking opportunities for key decision makers from the plumbing industry in the B2B Networking zone.Over 10000 plumbers, consultants, contractors, builders, hoteliers, architects and students from the plumbing sector will attend the event along with representatives from MSDE,NSDC and SSDMs.
IPSC’s objective is to initiate, carry out, execute, implement, aid and assist activities towards skill development in the plumbing sector and to meet the entire value chain’s requirements of appropriately trained manpower in quantity and quality on a sustained and evolving basis for the entire spectrum of plumbing industry.About 90% of the plumbing industry workforce in India is not professionally trained. Most of the skill learning in the industry happens through unstructured, On-The Job training (OJT). Lack of professionally trained plumbers is a major drawback for country’s construction and related sector. The Indian Plumbing Skill Council(IPSC) endeavours to address these issues and bring the skill levels in our country to world standards.
