As Artificial Intelligence (AI) increasingly becomes embedded in how societies learn, work, and make decisions, the conversation around AI has expanded beyond specialists and technologists. Today, AI influences classrooms, workplaces, public services, and everyday digital interactions. This makes foundational awareness a necessity rather than a niche skill.

Responding to this shift, AISECT Learn has partnered with the IndiaAI Mission to make YUVA AI for ALL, a foundational AI course, accessible to learners across India and globally. The collaboration reflects a shared emphasis on enabling wider participation in AI understanding through structured, credible, and inclusive learning pathways.

By offering YUVA AI for ALL through the AISECT Learn platform, the initiative supports national efforts to strengthen digital readiness and help learners engage more confidently with technologies that are shaping education, employment, and innovation.

AISECT Learn Partners with IndiaAI Mission to Launch YUVA AI for ALL

AISECT Learn–IndiaAI Mission collaboration

The collaboration brings together AISECT Learn’s experience in large-scale digital learning delivery with the IndiaAI Mission’s national framework for building AI capacity. Rather than focusing only on advanced or specialist training, the partnership prioritises foundational understanding; ensuring that learners from diverse educational and regional backgrounds can develop clarity around what AI is, how it works, and how it is applied.

This approach recognises that informed engagement with AI begins with awareness and comprehension, especially as AI tools become more widely used across sectors and professions.

What is YUVA AI for ALL?

YUVA AI for ALL is a short, structured learning program designed to make Artificial Intelligence (AI) understandable and relevant to everyone, regardless of prior technical knowledge. Created with inputs from AI experts, the course introduces global AI concepts through simplified, localised, and practical explanations tailored to Indian learners.

The program comprises six modules, covering the foundations, applications, ethics, and future of Artificial Intelligence. Learners explore how AI systems function, how machines learn, and how AI tools can be used responsibly in real-world contexts.

A distinctive element of the course is its focus on Generative AI and basic smart prompting. Learners gain an understanding of:

  • Core concepts such as Large Language Models (LLMs)
  • Simple prompting techniques to interact with AI tools effectively
  • Structured approaches such as the CRAFT formula for learning, writing, planning, and problem-solving

Building foundational AI awareness at scale

Designed as an introductory program, YUVA AI for ALL avoids advanced technical depth and instead focuses on conceptual clarity, real-world relevance, and responsible use of AI. This makes it suitable for students, early-career professionals, and first-time AI learners seeking a practical starting point.

By launching the course on the AISECT Learn platform, the initiative ensures that structured AI education reaches a geographically and socially diverse audience, supporting large-scale participation in foundational AI learning aligned with national priorities.

Inclusivity through language and accessibility

A key strength of YUVA AI for ALL is its emphasis on accessibility. The course is currently available in English and Hindi, with more regional languages planned, making it easier for learners from different language backgrounds to understand AI concepts.

What learners gain through YUVA AI for ALL

Through the program, learners benefit from:

  • A foundational understanding of Artificial Intelligence and Generative AI
  • Exposure to real-world, India-centric AI use cases
  • Basic smart prompting skills to interact with AI tools effectively
  • Awareness of AI ethics and responsible use
  • A short, well-structured learning journey
  • Government-recognised certification
  • Language-accessible content designed for broad participation

The course serves as a starting point for AI literacy, helping learners build confidence and awareness before progressing to more specialised or advanced digital skills.

Leadership perspective on making AI more accessible

Reflecting on the intent behind the initiative, Dr. Siddharth Chaturvedi, Director, AISECT, has emphasised that AI education must move beyond specialists and become part of mainstream learning. The focus, he notes, is on empowering young learners and citizens to understand, engage with, and responsibly use AI, rather than positioning it as an elite or inaccessible domain.

This perspective reinforces the collaborative intent of the IndiaAI Mission, where public initiatives and education providers work together to create learning opportunities that are credible, inclusive, and scalable.

Introductory programmes like YUVA AI for ALL enable learners to engage with AI concepts early, building clarity and confidence in navigating AI-enabled environments.
