TASK – TATA STRIVE Partnership enables unemployed graduates in Telangana secure jobs in Auto Sales and BFSI Sectors

TASK – TATA STRIVE Partnership has successfully created a sustainable model of employability through skill development. This has helped several unemployed graduates in Telangana secure  jobs in Auto Sales and BFSI Sectors as post-training placement. TATA STRIVE and Telangana Academy for Skill and Knowledge (TASK), had signed and MOU in Feb 2017 for enhancing skilling of faculty and youth in Telangana.

The valedictory event held on 27th July 2017 for 4 batches of students from Adilabad, Macherial, Medak, Siddipet, Peddapalli, Sanga Reddy, Ranga Reddy, Karimnagar and Nalgonda Districts who secured job offer letters from employers.

task_tatastrive_job offersExcited youth shared their experiences on the occasion and indicated that the learning cognitive skills was an interesting part of the program. Another youth shared how she overcame stage fear and became more confident to speak in front of a group. She was excited about being able to financially support their families.

rsz_task_tata_strive_placements1The employers from Varun Motors, Adarsha Automotives Pvt Lts, India Infoline (IIFL) and Fino Payments Bank shared their happiness about recruiting the readily available pool of skilled students from TASK – TATA STRIVE Batches.

Speaking on the occasion, Mr. Sujiv Nair, CEO – TASK, shared that this industry relevant focused skilling for 8 weeks enabled 100% of the students from the  4 batches to secure job offers.

She acknowledged the efforts of TASK for their partnership. I have visited many other states, but for me Telangana stands at Number 1 for two reasons : Speed of Execution and Dedication & Commitment of the youth here.”

Telangana Academy for Skill and Knowledge (TASK) was established by the Government of Telangana, for youth skill development and enhance the synergy among institutions of Government, Industry & Academia. Over 500 colleges in the Telangana state are registered with TASK and it offers skilling programs for students and faculty in line with industry requirement.
