NTTF partners Wipro GE and Tata STRIVE to establish Healthcare Skill Centre

Nettur Technical Training Foundation (NTTF) has inaugurated a Healthcare Skill Centre in collaboration with Wipro GE and Tata STRIVE with an aim to develop skilled technicians for the Healthcare industry. 

The skill centre is a best-in-class training facility established at Electronic city phase 1, Bangalore and was inaugurated by Dr. C. N. Manjunath, Director of Sri Jayadeva Institute of Cardiology, Bangalore on 15th February 2021. The inaguration was presided by Managing Director of NTTF, Dr. N. Reguraj and Deputy Managing Director Mr. Sudharshan.B.V.

The skill centre is well equipped with the best infrastructure.  and offers three courses on X-Ray Technician, Cardiac Care Technician and Operation Theater Technicians. The course offered by GE-NTTF is for the duration of 1 year with 6 months of training at NTTF and 6 months of on-the-job training in reputed hospitals.

The Healthcare sector is in need of skilled Healthcare professionals. The courses offered by GE-NTTF will make the students industry ready by bridging the skill gap.

NTTF partners Wipro GEDuring his speech, Dr. C. N. Manjunath appreciated the efforts and  initiatives by NTTF to develop skilled resources for the healthcare industry and expected high demand for the skilled technicians at hospitals in future. He also assured support from Sri Jayadeva Hospital for on-the-job training of candidates during the training program.

Ms. Anita Rajan, CEO, Tata STRIVE joined the program virtually and insisted on the need for quality education and extended support for the training program. Wipro GE Executive HRPB, South Asia, Mr. Rohit Vishal Gupta was the guest of honour who expressed the intent of Wipro GE in developing the skilled resources for the healthcare domain.

NTTF is a premier institute for technical skilling with pan India presence imparting technical training for the last six decades. The institution has over 60 industry-partnered setups and 30 training centres throughout India. It offers courses in Mechanical, Electrical, IT, Computer Engineering and Mechatronics to make the students future-ready. All the programs are designed as per industry requirements and they are offered as 3-year diploma with work-integrated learning model. The Post-Graduate Diploma also attracts many graduate engineers.
